Security steps to be unified at airports
Big efforts have been made to unify the safety and security measures at the airports to prevent the security threats against the civil aviation facilities, airports, and aircrafts according to Colonel Gareeb Al Housani, Director of the checkpoints and airports police security department.
He made this remark on the occasion of the ceremony marking the completion of the two training courses on airport security and handling of the hazardous materials. As many as 30 security personnel from Abu Dhabi and Al Ain International airports and Amiri aviation attended the course.
The trainees were given detailed knowledge about the threats and perils against the civil aviation and air pots and the security measures to curb such acts, how to deal with crisis and emergency situations at the airports. He added.
