The Higher Security Committee in charge of securing the Federal National Council (FNC) elections held a meeting at the Dubai Police Officers Club to review the plans and procedures adopted to secure the elections to be held in October.

In his address, Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior and Chairman of the Higher Security Committee, stressed the importance of joint cooperation in securing the electoral process, which falls in line with the vision of the higher leadership.

The meeting included the review of other topics related to securing elections in the presence of Major General Abdul Aziz Maktoum Al Shareefi, Vice Chairman of the Committee.

The Committee members include representatives from nationwide police GHQs and from the general directorates of the Ministry of Interior.
