Yesterday, Saturday, Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior visited the mourning tent for martyr Lieutenant Saeed Rashid Al Neyadi in the Mazyad area of Al Ain. His Highness expressed his sincerest condolences to the family and relatives of the martyr; praying to God Almighty to have mercy on the martyr’s soul, to grant him eternal peace in heaven among the saints and martyrs, and to provide his family with comfort and solace.
His Highness also checked on the health conditions of the injured Armed Forces soldiers at the Mafraq and Zayed Military hospitals in Abu Dhabi. The soldiers were a part of the Saudi-led Arab coalition in ‘Operation Restoring Hope’, which supports the legitimate government in Yemen. HH Sheikh Saif lauded the determination of the Emirati citizens to uphold glory and honor, and he praised their heroic acts in the line of duty that illuminated their courage and their sacrifice as they acted in solidarity and support for their fellow brethren.
In conversations held with the injured soldiers, His Highness inquired as to their health, and prayed to God Almighty to grant them good health and a speedy recovery.
