Saif bin Zayed Meets Latvian Deputy Prime Minister

On Sunday, Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, met with H.E Arvils Ašeradens, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Economics of the Republic of Latvia and his accompanying delegation. The meeting took place at the office of HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed.


During the meeting, both sides discussed a number of topics of mutual interest and ways to enhance cooperation and coordination among both parties.

The meeting was attended by Major General Salem Mubarak Al Shamesi, Director General of Finance and Support Services at the Ministry of Interior; Brigadier Dr. Rashid Sultan Al Khodr, Vice President of Legal Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, as well as a number of officers.

The Latvian delegation included Mr. Rudolfs Bremanis, Latvian Chargé d’Affaires in the UAE; Kaspars Ozoliņš, Transport Ministry’s State Secretary; Raimonds Aleksejenko, Deputy State Secretary at the Ministry of Economics; Andris Ozols, Director of Latvian Investment and Development Agency; and a number of senior staff at the Economics Ministry of the Republic of Latvia.
