A delegation from the Ras Al Khaimah Educational Zone at the Ministry of Education reviewed the Ministry of Interior’s applications for international best policing practices, during a visit to the Directorate General of Strategy and Performance Development. 

Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Saeed Matar Al Suraidi, Head of Quality Department welcomed the visiting delegation. He stressed the mutual commitment between ministries and government agencies to sharing knowledge and promoting partnerships, in pursuance of the government’s vision and expectations.

During the meeting, the attendees tackled the efforts of work teams in implementing the international quality standards and in improving the overall performance. The presentation focused on highlighting the Ministry of Interior’s attention to the comprehensive development project, achieving the vision of the higher leadership in drafting and implementing its constructive initiatives. Among these important initiatives was the launch of the Ministry of Interior’s strategic plan, which reflects the solidarity and cooperation between ministries and government bodies across the country.

The delegation also reviewed the Ministry of Interior’s experience in applying international quality standards. They were also acquainted with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 Quality management system and areas of mutual interest. They also discussed potential opportunities for collaboration in the launch of joint initiatives and projects and identified communication aspects between both sides to exchange information and spread knowledge.

For her part, the head of delegation praised the warm welcome and hospitality; stressing the importance of strengthening partnership and cooperation between the two parties, as per the government's vision.
