This years National security campaign with the main theme stable family secure society was based on the belief that if the family is stable there will not be crimes and the society will be safe and secure, said the head of the criminal investigation department at the ministry of interior Dr.Abdulla Ahmed Al Masharakh.
The campaign is being held under the patronage of His Highness Lt.Gen.Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Minister of Interior. Nearly 100 private companies and establishments are cooperating with the coordinating committee to the campaign to make the event a great success. The ultimate aim is to create the security awareness amoung all the community members, he said.
Major General Khaeli, who is the head of the organizing committee for the whole of UAE, said the campaign included media and sports programs targeted at various community groups and age categories.
Many experts would take part in the programs to be held at the shopping malls, schools, colleges, cultural centers, and other educational institutions and urged all the people to be proactive and take part in the campaigns, he added.
