High tech CCTV cameras are being installed to monitor the traffic follow on the external roads of the capital, according to Major Hussain Al Harthy, head of the road engineering section of the traffic and patrols department of Abu Dhabi Police
The purpose of the cameras are for monitoring and controlling the behavior of the motorists ,allow early intervention to prevent serious accidents and specially to prevent the recurrence of incidence like the massive pile up of vehicles like the one occurred on Dubai Abu Dhabi highway few days ago,he added.
