A delegation of staff members enrolled in the second Creativity Development Program, organized by the Creativity and Leadership Development Center at the Ministry of Interior, reviewed the services provided by the Etihad Innovation Centre in Abu Dhabi in the field of training, safety procedures, as well as products and service related to aircrafts.
The visit falls in line with the efforts to strengthen cooperation and communication relations with the various agencies and institutions. During the introductory tour, the delegation was briefed by Hareb Mubarak Al Muhairy, Etihad Airways' Senior Vice President for Corporate and International Affairs about the Center and its prestigious position achieved in the field of infrastructure development in the airline industry, as well as its efforts to increase air traffic safety, security, efficiency, and growth.
The delegation also reviewed the efforts made by the Centre to develop innovation of local competencies, through the provision of job opportunities and training. Al Muhairy explained that the centre is also home to Etihad’s Innovation Training Academy, which comprises the largest A380 and B787 cabin service and safety trainers in the world.
The delegation was also briefed about the new Abu Dhabi International Airport building, which was designed according to the highest international standards, in order to provide world-class services in passenger and cargo transport, so as to meet future growing demand.
For his part, Captain Salem Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Chief of the Creativity Development Section at the Ministry of Interior’s Creativity and Leadership Development Center, said that the visit aims to acquaint staff members enrolled in the second Creativity Development Program with the best local experiences in the field of innovation, in order to develop their creative abilities.
