Colonel Mohammed Hamid Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Director General, the Directorate General of Strategy and Performance Development at the General Secretariat of HIS HIGHNESS Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, stressed on the importance of the effective role of quality teams and auditors at the Ministry in improving performance, thus upgrading the ministry’s departments to the highest international levels.
He stated that in a speech delivered at the graduation ceremony of 5 internal accredited auditor batches of levels one and three. The graduation ceremony comes as part of the Ministry of Interior rehabilitation program to obtain ISO 9001:2008. The ceremony was held in the conference hall at the Ministry’s headquarters.
Colonel Al Dhaheri called on documenting procedures, organizing work, and involving all staff from the root levels up to the highest managerial levels, as well as extending all required knowledge to them.
Colonel Dr. Saeed Matar Al Seraidi, Quality Management Department, stated that 49 accredited quality auditors including officers, non-commissioned officers and civilians Lieutenant participated in the third phase designed for the Ministry of Interior departments, and first phase for Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs. He pointed out that the skills and expertise of these auditors will be employed to execute the audit plan and improve quality in all departments.
At the end of the ceremony, Colonel Al Dhaheri distributed certificates to the graduates.
