On the occasion of the Isra and Mi’raj, the Ministry of Interior organized a series of religious lectures at its various headquarters and departments across the country, to commemorate the auspicious event and its great value in the history of Islam, when the divine grace was bestowed by Allah Almighty on his messenger Prophet Mohammed Peace Be upon Him.
The lectures highlighted the importance of this occasion and the prestigious status of Jerusalem (Bayt Al Maqdis), as the place where divine messages are bestowed and towards which prophets turn in their prayers, and the place where Prophet Mohammed ascended to heavens in the journey of Isra and Mi’raj.
The lectures also called upon police staff members and attendees to show further dedication and efforts in discharging their tasks and duties in the service of the country without faltering. They also urged them to draw lessons from the life values and work of Prophet Mohammed Peace Be upon Him, and the Isra and Mi’raj Night Journey.
