Marine Police rescue Indian from drowning
 
An Indian national, Shafir khan 24 was rescued by the Marine Police from drowning while he was swimming at the Abu Dhabi Corniche.
 
While he was taken to the hospital by the emergency and public safety ambulance, his heart beat stopped for about 7minitues, but recovered on timely medical attention given by the rescue and emergency team according to the rescue members.
 
He was admitted to the intensive care unit for further treatment said Lt. Salim Al Kaabi, head of the emergency and public safety department. He cautioned the public to assure safety precautions while going to the sea especially during bad sea conditions.
