Man rescued from pit by civildefence crews
A Syrian man who was walking along the tourist club area during the early night hours fell in to a pit dug for maintenance work for the electricity and water authority in Abu Dhabi was rescued by the Abu Dhabi Police Civil defence department yesterday
The pit was about 3 meter deep and the victim was transferred to Khalifa hospital for medial aid for his minor injuries. The Police sources called upon the people to be careful while walking along such areas where construction or maintenance work is going on so as to assure their safety.
