The 32nd Gulf Traffic Week events continue in all the emirates, and include activities and initiatives aiming to deepen traffic awareness and implant it into a curriculum and culture which positively reflects the competent authorities’ efforts to reduce accidents and traffic violations.

As part of the initiatives of the Higher Committee for Child Protection headed by Major General Dr. Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, the Child Protection Center has provided awareness through events held in the emirate of Ajman. Topics included the hotline and HEMAYATI application on smart phones, to facilitate reporting cases of child abuse, and email reporting via the center’s website.

The center’s participation enhances the promotion of traffic culture and knowledge in children’s spirits and defines its role in protecting them. The center also organized a series of awareness-raising children’s activities, such as the free atelier, and competitions aimed to spread awareness of traffic culture among children.
