Government to employ special needs people
 
The graduates from the Interior Ministries center for rehabilitation and employment of people with special needs will be offered job opportunities at the local department in Abu Dhabi under a partnership agreement signed between the ministry of interior and the Abu Dhabi civil service department.
 
The agreement opens the door for outstanding members of this group to complete their study abroad at the expense of the government.
 
Lt.Gen. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed al Nahyan, the Minister of Interior, said that these centers were the brain child of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al Nahyan, with the aim of investing the creative skills of the people with special needs. he also said that the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al Nahyan and General Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed al Nahyan ,the Crown Prince and Deputy supreme commander of the Armed forces UAE are also following the steps of late Sheikh Zayed.
 
He disclosed that the ministry of interior has employed 167 graduates of these centers in different emirates of whom 24 are in the education sector.
 
The chairman of the Abu Dhabi civil service department, Rashid Mubarak affirmed the government’s commitment to provide 1-2 percent of the available jobs to this segment.
