GCC police college delegation visits Abu Dhabi police directorates
A delegation comprising officers from the police colleges of the GCC countries visited the various directorates of the General headquarters of Abu Dhabi police.
Major General Saeed Obaid Al Mazroui, the deputy commander in chief of the Abu Dhabi police received the delegation at his office. The director generals of all the police directorates and other senior officers were present on the occasion.
Al Mazroui expressing his happiness in receiving the delegation said that such visits by security personnel’s from the brotherly countries will help better understanding of the functioning and management of security systems, exchange expertise and improve inter relationships between security organizations of their respective countries.
The delegation visited the central operations room, foresinic laboratory, emergency, public safety department, and security affairs and ports department. The senior officials who briefed about the activities of their respective directorates to the delegation included Brigadier Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Brigadier Mohammed Batti Al Rumaiti, Col. Othman Yusef Al Tamami,Lt.Col.Abdulrahman Al Hamadi, Lt.Col. Khalfan Al Naimi among others.
The delegates were acquainted with the functioning of the central operations room, the modern equipments and systems used in emergencies, security affairs such as preventing and investigating crimes.
The members were also given a demonstration of the functioning of the e-gate system and iris scan technology to the great appreciation of the delegates. The visiting officials expressed their gratitude for the warm reception given to them at all the directorates and appreciated the quality of development achieved by the Abu Dhabi police.
