Fire breaks out in warehouse
ABU DHABI — A fire broke out in the company warehouse of a firm dealing in medical equipment in Abu Dhabi Seaport complex yesterday.
No casualties were reported. But it is being estimated that there may be substantial damage to company property stocked in the warehouse, said Lieutenant Colonel Othman Yousouf, head of the Quick Intervention Unit at the Abu Dhabi Police Directorate.
The blaze, which was swiftly brought under control, destroyed some medical equipment and part of a power room of a trade establishment operating in the seaport.
