The Police Schools Department at Abu Dhabi Police organized a field visit for the female recruits of the 44th Basic Training Course to the Al Maqam Police Station in Al Ain, to review the nature of work and the services provided by the station.

During the visit, the recruits were briefed about the community and security services carried out by Al Maqam Police, in addition to the various disciplines and procedures followed at crime scenes; criminal investigations; inquiries; temporary detention; and the proper ways to receive and handle notifications. They were also acquainted with the role played by the Community Police.

As a part of the training course program, the female recruits acquired multiple skills in field security work, to prepare them to engage in police work. They reviewed the partners’ management mechanism between the police and the community. They also learned the proper ways to undertake the various tasks and duties, and how to build skills and capabilities in order to promote police work according to the latest practices, in pursuance of the Abu Dhabi Police vision aimed at enhancing security and stability in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
