Brigadier Mohammed Ghadir Al Ketbi, Deputy Director General of the Federal Criminal Police, honored 70 officers, non-commissioned officers, constables, civilians, and women staff members from the Federal Criminal Police Directorate General, as well as partners and representatives of the Federal Crime Scene Department and the Security Inspection Department (K9) in recognition of their distinguished efforts in discharging their duties in the best way possible. The honoring ceremony was held by the directorate general at the Police Officers Club in Abu Dhabi.

In his speech marking the occasion, Brigadier Al ketbi said: “The honoring is in pursuance of the police leadership’s directives and embody the Federal Criminal Police Directorate General’s strategy to honor distinguished personnel, out of its firm belief that this will motivate all personnel to carry out the tasks assigned to them in the best possible way.”

Brigadier Al ketbi stressed the keenness of the Federal Criminal Police to upgrade and develop work methods and make achievements according to the institutional excellence standards and efficient participation, so as to upgrade police work. He hailed the efforts of the distinguished employees in carrying out their assigned tasks, urging the honorees to exert more efforts and remain committed to carry out their tasks according to the required standards of excellence.

He also praised the efforts of the external partners for their valuable role in implementing the partners’ relations methodology, being a key pillar to ensure success and progress of work. In conclusion, he wished everyone the best of luck and success.

Moreover, Brigadier Mohammed Ghadir Al Ketbi attended the ceremony held by the Federal Criminal Police Directorate General at the ministry, to celebrate the graduation of two specialized courses organized by the Security Inspection Department (K9) at Abu Dhabi Police. The courses included the “Basics course on explosive detection by police sniffer dogs”, attended by six staff members from the UAE Armed Forces General Command; and the “Evaluation course for explosives’ detection team (K9)”. 

The ceremony was attended by Colonel Jamal Juma Habash, Head of Security Inspection Department, along with heads of departments and a number of officers from the Federal Criminal Police Directorate General at the Ministry of Interior.
