During its sixth meeting for the year, the Coordinating Committee of the Federal Community Police at the Ministry of Interior discussed means to upgrade the policing system and develop performance at the different Community Police sections and stations at the countrywide level. The meeting was recently held at the Comprehensive Police Stations Department of the Capital Police Directorate in Abu Dhabi and chaired by Colonel Mohamed Al Hosani from the Directorate General of Community Protection and Crime Prevention at the General Secretariat of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

During the meeting, attendees also reviewed the mechanisms and methods to support the Community Police’s field work at a number of police stations; the efforts to facilitate and streamline procedures; and the process of establishing an organized action plan to conveniently and easily exchange messages and e-mails between the different entities.

The meeting also tackled the importance of educating the Federal Community Police about the national service objectives, in a way that would enhance their national sense and patriotism, and encourage them to attain further advanced achievements.

The meeting was attended by the committee members from the Federal Community Police departments and Sections across the UAE.
