Eye testing for driving licence privatized

 
The General Headquarters of Abu Dhabi Police has privatized eye testing required for driving licence applicants in Abu Dhabi, in cooperation with three private hospitals.
Six centers for eye tests were opened yesterday.
 
For centers have been inaugurated in Abu Dhabi, of which two are in the premises of the licence section, one at the Al Rahba police station and the other at the emirates driving school in Musaffah.
 
The fifth center is located in the western region Tariff, while the last center is located in Al Ain.all the testing is done at low cost according to Major Abdullah Al Quadi, head of the driving licence section.
 
The hospitals authorized for the testing includes Al Khaleej diagnostic center in Abu Dhabi, Al Salama hospital in Al Ain and Al Mazrouy hospital in Tariff. These hospitals are equipped with latest equipment required for the testing of the eye according to the international medical protocols.
