A delegation from the Emirates Post Group visited the Knowledge Centre at the Strategy and Performance Development Directorate General at Abu Dhabi Police, to review the center’s tasks and the best international practices implemented in the various work fields.
Colonel Faisal Sultan Al Shuaibi, Director of Strategy and Performance Development, met with the delegation, headed by Thumna Nekhairah Al Sharifi, Director of the First Postal Zone at Emirates Post Group at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters (GHQ). He reiterated the mutual commitment of local institutions and departments to exchanging knowledge and promoting partnerships so as to achieve the vision and aspirations of the Abu Dhabi Government.
For his part, Major Khaled Hussein Al Khoury, Director of the Knowledge Center said that such forums promote the dissemination of the knowledge culture across all authorities and departments, which has become a practical reality through the application of the best practices. “Such events also represent the perfect opportunity to discuss and review the distinguished experiences and to exchange and develop knowledge,” he added.
Major Al Khoury also briefed the delegation on the work mechanisms adopted by the Abu Dhabi Police in the field of knowledge management and methodology, aimed at regulating and managing knowledge, to ensure that it is properly used to develop and improve institutional performance.
For her part, Thumna Nekhairah Al Sharifi, Director of the First Postal Zone at Emirates Post Group, stressed that the visit boosts partnership between the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters and the Emirates Post Group. She also hailed the efforts of the Abu Dhabi Police in enhancing security and safety and wished them further excellence.
