The Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Interior announced the working hours at the various service departments at the General Directorates of Residency and Foreign Affairs across the UAE during Eid Al Adha holidays. The working hours will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. except on Friday and Saturday at all customer service centers at these departments.
Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs said that a team work comprised of 25% of the employees at those departments have been entrusted with the task to ensure a speedy completion of customers’ emergency and urgent transactions. “This measure aims to deliver services to the public by avoiding work pressure and the expected rush following the Eid Al Adha holidays. It also embodies the Ministry of Interior’s strategy to achieve the standards of quality and excellence in performance,” indicated Major General Al Khaili.
Adding further, he reiterated that this procedure comes in implementation of the Police Leadership’s directives that stipulate the need to upgrade the level of services provided to the public. It also showcases a keenness to deliver distinguished services to community members and to promote the principles of total quality and excellence in performance.
Major General Al Khaili extended his heartfelt congratulations and blessings to the higher leadership, the people of the UAE and to the Arab and Islamic nations; praying Allah Almighty to bless them with happiness and wellness.
