Dubai Police Delegation received
Brigadier Usef Abdul Karim, Head of the reformatory and penal department, received a delegation from the Dubai Police headed by Major. Dr.Jasim Khaleel Merza ,the General coordinator for the 2nd international conference on sports verses crime ,which will be organized by the Dubai Police department in November this year
Lt. Col. Atiq Al Zaheri, head of the inmate’s affairs section accompanied the delegation on a tour to both Al Wathba and Al Mafraq sections, to evaluate the sports potential available in the facilities, in addition to conducting a field study regarding the implementations of the recommendations of the first conference held in November 2004.
The delegation also reviewed several sports and career activities in addition to the equipments available for the inmates. Their findings will be presented at the 2nd international conference.
