Domestic violence will not be tolerated
Violence against women is illegal and will not be tolerated without any discrimination of nationality, caste creed or religion according to a senior community policing official
Community centers set by the department will help raise awareness against domestic violence and will provide all the necessary help to the victims to stand up to their rights said Lt.Col.Mohammed Al Housani,director of the community policing department at the General headquarters of Abu Dhabi Police.
He called upon the woman to report incase of any violence against them. The community centers he said will help them cope up with the situation and find a remedy to it. The center will also help mentor children so they grow up in a socially healthy environment.
