H.E Major General Mohammed Khalfan Al Rumaithi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, reviewed the achievements and vision of the Emirates Women Police Association (EWPA), during his meeting with a delegation from the association in his office at the Police General Headquarters. The delegation was headed by Major Amina Mohamed Khamis Al Bloushi, Chairwoman of the Emirates Women Police Association and comprised of a number of committees’ heads and members of the association.

Chairwoman of the EWPA briefed the attendees on the association’s work, initiatives and conferences it took part in. She also explained that the association was founded in November 2011 and has organized several events and initiatives since that time, in addition to its participation in a number of community-based programs.

Moreover, Al Rumaithi praised the efforts of the EWPA members in promoting security and safety in the country;confirming his confidence in the ability of Emirati women in general and through the Women Police Association to attain achievements that serve our society.

At the end of the meeting, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police received a commemorative shield from the Chairwoman of the Emirates Women Police Association, who commended his keen interest in reviewing the projects and initiatives that the association is working oncompleting this year.
