Convict who escaped caught in two hours
A convict with infectious diseases who escaped from the hospital posing a danger to the public health was arrested by Abu Dhabi Police within two hours of his escape.
Major General Mohammed Khamis Al Junaibi, the deputy commander in chief of Abu Dhabi Police honored the officers and other personnel who took part in the operation.
He had been hospitalized in the capital for the last two months. Immediately after his escape coordinated efforts were made by all the police departments in Abu Dhabi specially at the department of security affairs and checkpoints were set up to apprehend the runaway prisoner
Lt.Gen.Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan,the Minister if Interior ordered honoring Brigadier Yusef Abdul Karim ,director of the correctional and punitive department at the Abu Dhabi Police and a number of officers and personnel who took part in tracking down the prisoner.
