Civil Defence Department organizes a specialist course for trainers for the first time in Abu Dhabi
Colonel Othman Yusuf Al Tamami, Director of Emergency and Public Safety Department, has appreciated Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Minister of Interior’s support to all policing sectors. This support has resulted in a qualitative move reflected on the delivered services. We organize world-class training courses for the first time in Abu Dhabi. They are recognized by the most famous American Heart Society (AHS).
Colonel Al Tamami says this advanced awareness has instigated transparency in the work carried out by our department and other ADP GHQ’s departments. We receive more than 7 thousand calls a month. We respond to the remarks and comments of the public by promoting our performance. WE also have specialist experts for all types of emergency, rescue and rapid reaction cases, in addition to national staff.
Captain Omer Ahmed Al Dhahiri, Head of Training Section states that our department in cooperation with the Colleges of Technology has introduced emergency medicine programme. We adopt modern curricula in rescue sciences.
Mr. Faras Mohammad Al daqaq, trainer, regional trainer at AHS, states that ADP for the first time organizes a specialist course to qualify trainers under the title “Supporting basic life needs” under AHS supervision. The certificates they offer are recognized world wide.
Dr. Kareema Rafaf, Director of Medical Training Branch, says that our training section is the one which provides medical sectors with its services. Our section organized 121 courses last year attended by 3424 trainees received training on fire fighting and rescue operations.
