The Directorate General of Civil Defense in Abu Dhabi organized a blood donation campaign in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Blood Bank (ADBB). The campaign witnessed a significant turnout from the Civil Defense’s employees and customers as well.
A total of 60 employees took part in the campaign, which highlights their keenness to saving lives of people in need of blood and to meeting humanitarian needs.
The campaign aims to promote the spirit of giving among employees and enhance the concept of social responsibility and humanitarian values. It also aims to educate the public on the health benefits of donating blood as well as the humanitarian aspect of saving the lives of many people.
It is worth mentioning that the Directorate General of Civil Defense in Abu Dhabi has consistently endeavored to organize blood donation campaigns twice a year, out of its firm belief in the importance of developing a sense of responsibility among its staff members and its keenness to be an active player that serves the various society segments.
