Belarus Security Delegation visits Explosives Department of AD Police
A delegation consisting of personnel’s from the security department of the Republic of Belarus visited the explosive unit of Abu Dhabi Police as part of their cooperation in preventing terrorism, and explosions.
Colonel Sellafa Sedir Akin, head of the delegation and the Special Units of Republic of Belarus was briefed about the training programs organized by the department.
The purpose of the visit was also to discuss future cooperation between Abu Dhabi Police GHQ and the Special Forces in Belarus and specify the areas of cooperation in the future, said Colonel Sellafa.
He said that eight programs were organized for 116 personals, and another two advanced programs attended by 16 personals, who were trained on new ways of handling explosives and bombs. Now we are planning for the future programs.
The trainees have reached a good level of progress during the pervious programs using NATO Forces tactic, and now they are being trained on different tactic used by former Soviet Union and Eastern European countries on handling explosives and bombs.
At the end of the visit the head of the delegation was presented with police memento.
