Badran Honors Second Batch of Security Media Team for Green Applications Initiative
Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services at Abu Dhabi Police and Head of the Green Applications Team at the Ministry of Interior, hosted a ceremony in his office to honor the second batch of members of the media team in charge of deploying a culture of green applications across the Ministry of Interior.
Major Badran praised the team members’ unrelenting efforts and hard work in implementing the ministry’s strategy, and raising the awareness of the targeted audience of members, customers, partners, and suppliers. The media team highlighted the importance of adhering to safe environmental standards, encouraging environmentally protective behaviors and procedures, and limiting resources wastage.
He also emphasized the MoI’s commitment to encouraging police entities to adopt the best environmental solutions and green applications. “Such practices would contribute to enhancing quality of life and environmental performance, reducing resources consumption, and promoting positive practices, with the aim of improving the UAE’s environmental performance, and achieving the UAE’s National Strategy for Green Growth.
The honored members of the Security Media Department at the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior were: Alya Ateeq Al Rumaithi, Senior Administrative and Radio Branch Manager; Muhsen Al Moughni, Media Expert; Sharafeddine Taher, Senior Journalist; Samir Khamis Ismael, Editor;Hussam Youssef, Senior Editor; and Raed Al Ajlouni, Senior Editor.
The honorees praised the attention dedicated by the higher leadership of the police to encouraging members to achieve its strategic objectives and visions. They also stressed their commitment to continue their work in spreading greater awareness of green applications and environmental concepts, and implement them within the media work system.
