Avoid speeding to break fast – police
 
The traffic and patrolling department at the General headquarters of Abu Dhabi Police cautioned the public from speeding to break their fast during the holy month of Ramadan.
 
Colonel Gaith Al Zaabi, director of the traffic and patrolling department at the General headquarters said that additional patrols will be deployed to monitor the traffic during the Ramadan days. He said that the people are of the habit of over speeding to reach their home to break the fast and this ends up in a lot of accidents during the previous years and hence the warning, he added.
 
It stated that the working hours of the licencing department, registration department, fines department and other departments during Ramadan period will be from 9 am to 2 pm and 8 pm to 12.30 am. These timings will be applicable in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Musafah.
