The Albanian Minister of Interior, Saimir Tahiri, and his accompanying delegation visited the Police College, where he was received by Colonel Saif Al Ketbi, Police College Director; department directors and heads; and a number of the College’s officers.

Discussions during the meeting involved ways to enhance cooperation and exchange visits between the Police College and the similar colleges and training institutions in Albania.

Colonel Al Ketbi briefed the visiting delegation on the Police College, its affiliated departments and sections, and the relevant tasks and duties. He also acquainted the Albanian delegation with the various training and educational programs the Police College provides police officers so they may graduate with the highest level of competence and engage in different areas of police work. Colonel Al Ketbi additionally provided an overview of the applied e-learning program at the Police College.

The Police College Director stressed the keenness of the Ministry of Interior (MoI) to implement the advanced curriculum in the training and educational programs. The programs focus on qualifying staff members in accordance with the strategy and efforts of the MoI to provide excellent services based on the best international standards, to enhance public confidence, and to increase customer satisfaction with the provided services.

At the end of the visit, commemorative shields and gifts were exchanged.
