Al Rahba Police concludes summer training
Al Rahba Police department of the Police Operations Department at Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters organized a conclusion ceremony at the end of the month long summer training program.
The ceremony was attended by Colonel Saeed Arkan Al Rashdi Chief of Al Rahba Police Station and a number of officers and the 24 trainee from Al Rahba police who participated in the program.
Colonel Al Rashidi said that this kind of training is considered as the first of its kind in Community Policing in Abu Dhabi .the trainees included the students of different departments. The aim of this training program was to ensure the implementation of the programs associated with the five-year strategic development plan of the general headquarters of Abu Dhabi Police on building the confidence and trust of all segments of society. The program included visits to patients in Al Rahba Hospital in addition to organizing awareness lectures about the misuse of the Internet.
Speaking on the occasion, First Lieutenant Abdulla Mohamed Al Harthi from the Community Police said that the trainees during the course of the program learned about the hidden dangers that could be facing them on the roads and the dangers of reckless driving of motorcycles or bicycles in places not designated for the purpose.
