Al Faraj Fund to organize visits to families of insolvent inmates

Al Faraj Fund, will send one of its specialized committees to pay visits to families of insolvent inmates of correctional and punitive institutions, and attest the validity of information presented by the inmates when they request financial help.

Remarks were made during the meeting earlier held at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, under chairmanship of Col. Hamad Khamis Al Dhaheri, secretary- general of the Fund.

Inmates will be treated according to their family situation, and those receiving long terms in prison and whose requested money does not exceed AED 100.000 will be given priority, said Al Dhaheri during the meeting. 

He affirmed that lists of inmates against whom deportation orders have been made, have been approved and that airport, destination, time and date have also been defined
 
Al Dhaheri urged concerned committees to carry out duties assigned to them, and follow up the implementation of all decisions made. He thanked them for their efforts to help insolvent inmates and their relatives.

Present at the meeting were Lt. Colonel Ali Saeed Al Ziyoudi, secretary general of the Fund, Lt. Colonel Khalid Mubarak Al Yafie, Ajman correctional and punitive institutions, Lt. Colonel Rashed Suleiman Rashed, Al Fujairah correctional and punitive institutions, Major Ibrahim Mohammed Al Qarsi, Ras Al Khaimah correctional and punitive institutions, Major Saeed Ibrahim Saeed, Um Al Quwain correctional and punitive institutions, 1st Lt. Khalifa Matar Al Falasi, Dubai correctional and punitive institutions, 1st Lt. Manie Ali Al Naqbi, Sharjah correctional and punitive institutions, warrant officer Abdullah Hassan Al Mansouri, Cases Affairs Department and rapporteur of the committee and Naeem Ismaeel Al Shamesi.
