The Al Ain Police Directorate announced a set of preparations to receive the Eid El Fitr holidays by intensifying efforts according to a comprehensive plan aimed at enhancing the security and safety of citizens, residents and visitors of Al Ain city during the holidays.

Brigadier Hamad Ajlan Al Amimi, Director of the Al Ain Police Directorate, announced that efforts will be intensified to maintain the public’s safety at various areas across the city of Al Ain, such as prayer areas, gardens, public parks and residential streets. He also noted that police patrols will be deployed at these locations to provide assistance to people when needed.

Brigadier Al Amimi also indicated that the various police stations affiliated to the directorate have established preemptive and proactive plans to increase security, by which traffic patrols will be extensively deployed at places expected to witness traffic such as markets and touristic places, as well as in front of important malls in the city to prevent traffic congestion or incidents that disturb the peace of this auspicious occasion.

Within the "You Safety" campaign carried out by the General Directorate of Police Operations, Brigadier Al Amimi called upon citizens and residents to remain cautious when driving, and while strolling or visiting friends and relatives.

Brigadier Al Amimi also urged parents to remain cautious and preserve their children's safety by deterring them from playing with fireworks. He also called on them to refrain from leaving children unattended in dangerous places during the holidays such as streets and swimming pools. In conclusion, he noted that all police stations will constantly be ready to communicate with the public and receive their calls for help, wishing everyone happy and safe holidays.
