Abu Dhabi police officer obtains Masters Degree in organizational development
First lieutenant Rashed Khalfan Bin Amer Al Thukhri from the Strategy Department at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ obtained Masters Degree in organizational development from Manchester Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom.
The topic of his study was “changes and organizational development”. First lieutenant Rashed said that the study dealt with the issues related to the organizational structure of Abu Dhabi Police which is an important factor in any institution because of its role in dealing with the changes in the external environment and raising the morale of the staff and their job satisfaction.
He added that the study focused on the question; to what extent can the structural changes help in making the Abu Dhabi Police more efficient and responsive to changes in the local work environment?
First lieutenant Al Thukri obtained his masters degree in one year study which included several subjects such as performance evaluation, Strategy planning, managing Changes, Organizational Development, in addition to research methods and dynamic organizations.
