Abu Dhabi Traffic Police organized 23 lectures on traffic safety
Traffic and patrols Department of the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ have organized 23 lectures in an intensive awareness program aimed at creating awareness about traffic safety concepts among various communities and to reduce the number of traffic accidents causing deaths and injuries.
Major Jamal Al Amri Head of Public Relations at the Traffic and patrols Department at Abu Dhabi Police said that the awareness lectures have been conducted during the last four months between 12th of April to 31st of last July reached 23 and attended by more than 2382 people from different organizations namely, ADCO, ADNOC and a number Abu Dhabi schools and Emirates Heritage Club members.
Al Amri asserted the importance of assuring the safety of pedestrians and commitment to the rules of safe passage at pedestrian crossings and using the under passages in order to avoid accidents.
