The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi distributed Iftar meals on workers in the Industrial City of Abu Dhabi (ICAD) in Mussafah.
Colonel Salim Ali Al Qattam Al Zaabi, Director General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi contributed in distributing the Iftar meals in line with the “O seeker of good, proceed” initiative. Colonel Al Zaabi with the participation of the Media and Public Relations Section distributed the Iftar meals on workers. The step comes in line with the belief of the importance of social communication with all segments of the society in implementation of the approach adopted by the higher leadership during the Holy Month of Ramadan. The leadership’s approach made the United Arab Emirates (UAE) a capital and a beacon of good and generosity.
Dr. Muhammed Salah Al Mistawi, Secretary General of the Higher Islamic Council in Tunisia, who is an Islamic scholar and a guest of His Highness President of the UAE during the Holy Month of Ramadan, gave a lecture titled “The Grace of the Holy Month of Ramadan.” The lecture was delivered at the mosque of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Al Mistawi mentioned the grace of Ramadan which is the “Month of the Holy Quran.” He mentioned the verses from the Quran that speak of the month, and how we should benefit from it with deeds that make us closer to the Creator Allah All Mighty. He also mentioned the sayings of Prophet Muhammed (Peace be Upon Him) that are related to the topic.
The lecture reaffirms the commitment of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in working as per the results-based strategies, and supporting these strategies
by providing them with information on the requirements of the society and customers.
