The Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi celebrated on Wednesday the anniversary of the Prophet's migration “Al-Hijrah” and the new Hijri year 1437, with a lecture titled “Lessons from the Prophet's migration”. The lecture, which was held at the directorate general’s mosque, was delivered by Sheikh Dr. Anas Mohammed Qassar, preacher at the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments.
During the lecture, which was attended by staff members and customers, the preacher shed the light on the most important lessons learned from this auspicious occasion, and from the honorable Life of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
He also discussed the role of the Hijrah in instilling positive values, principles and behaviors.
