Abu Dhabi Police to showcases new technology in GITEX 2008

Face Print, Speeding Offences, Reports Control and E- gate systems will be on show

 

For the 8th consecutive time Abu Dhabi police, represented by the Information and Communication Technology Department will show case its advanced technology applications employed in various security and safety operations will be show cased  in GITEX 2008 events.

 

 Abu Dhabi police adopts a comprehensive concept to enhance technological development. The new generations of electronic technologies which are being used to promote all aspects of security performance. The exhibition will be take place from 19 to 23 October 2008 at Dubai World Centre.

 

Stall number (A8-1) at hall number 8 is assigned to Abu Dhabi police. New programs, projects and systems will be shown at the stall. These include face print, which has been recently introduced in Abu Dhabi International Airport, Speeding offences system (Hazir) where the offender will be notified by an SMS on his mobile in a short time, report control system which controls the reports addressed to Operation Room and Easy System (Sahl) which deals with inquiries and payment of fines through IVR machines.
