The organizing committee of the international symposium for police leaders in the Gulf and the world held lately a meeting where the final preparations for the symposium held 5-7 December at Abu Dhabi Intercontinental Hotel have been discussed.

Brigadier commodore Ali Al Mazrouei, director of Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing Department, also chairman of the committee, headed the meeting.

More than 45 countries will take part in the symposium organized by the Ministry of Interior represented by the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, he pointed out. It will discuss a number of police issues such as the role of air wings in supporting police commands, the laws and stages of their implementation, dealing with crisis, disasters, organized crime, electronic crimes and other security and policing issues.

The symposium is the first of its kind in the middle east and the second worldwide, he added.

A number of countries will participate in the gathering such as the US, Britain, Canada, France, Spain, Italy, Brazil, Mexico, Australia, China, Singapore, Turkey in addition to the GCC countries.
