Abu Dhabi Police praise Zayed charity foundation

Zayed Foundation for Humanitarian and Charity works has received a certificate of appreciation from the Abu Dhabi Police General Directorate, in recognition of its services in the related field.
The certificate was given by the AD Police in line with its agenda to honour individuals and institutions, as it is celebrating its golden jubilee.
During the celebrations, the Minister of Interior Lt.Gen.Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan honoured several institutions in the country for their support to the Abu Dhabi Police in implementing its community services.
Sheikh Saif said that the Zayed Foundation stands out with its paramount humanitarian role in giving support to the people with special needs and the numerous rehabilitations centres across the country. The Foundation also gave financial support to repay debts of several prisoners sentenced to imprisonment for default, thus getting them released. A number of people could also return home, as the Foundation bought for them air tickets after they were released as per the order of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
