Abu Dhabi Police personnel’s graduates in special courses

A graduation ceremony was held at the General Headquarters of Abu Dhabi Police were 218 police personnel’s graduated in 14 various courses conducted in cooperation with different local and international training institutions.

Major General Mohammed Juma Al Darmaki, General director of oil field security department, speaking on the occasion paid rich tributes to HH Lt.Gen.Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Minister of Interior, for his vision and strategy in developing the human resources of the Abu Dhabi Police through continuous training programs to match the security requirements with the ongoing faster development the country is witnessing.

Training is of paramount importance in providing quality service to the public and securing the society and these specialized trainings will enhance the ability and the technical skills of the Police personnel in meeting the ever increasing challenges of the security scenario.

He also stated that more and more people will be trained in the future and congratulated the graduates for their keen interest and efforts shown in such training courses.

Major Khalifa Butti Al Shamsi, the deputy director of the training department at the General Headquarters of Abu Dhabi Police, said that the courses were conducted in 14 various fields such as security, administration, dealing with situations such as plain crash, mob controlling, strategic management, accounting and problem solving. The training was organized in association with national and international training institutions, he said.

These trainings will help the police personnel to handle security responsibilities with the latest technology and training he said. He hailed the efforts of Col Mohammed Al Awadi General director of the Human resource directorate at the General Headquarters of Abu Dhabi Police for his keen interest in developing the human resource of the Abu Dhabi Police personnels, he added.
