Abu Dhabi Police delegation to visit Germany
To study the security measures for the world cup
 
Abu Dhabi Police is sending a delegation to Germany to benefit from the experience of its German counterpart in organizing the 18th Gulf Cup which the UAE will host early next year.

German Ambassador, Jurgen Steltzer, received here today a delegation from the Abu Dhabi Police Headquarters, assigned to visit Germany to have first hand information about the secrete behind the great success of the German Police in implementing security measures during the ongoing World Cup.

The German Ambassador briefed the delegation on details of their trip and programme, which would include a visit to the Headquarters of the German Federal Police to sensitize themselves with the latter's operations, organization structure and measures taken during the period of the World Cup.

The delegation will also visit a number of towns and stadia hosting World Cup matches.
Director of Training at the Abu Dhabi Police Headquarters Human Resources Department, Lt. Colonel Khalifa Butti Al Shamsi, praised the strong relations of security cooperation between the German Embassy and the Abu Dhabi Police.
 
He also commended the German Embassy for its great efforts in facilitating the task of the UAE delegation to enable it achieve its objectives.
