Abu Dhabi Police crack down reckless jet skiers
Abu Dhabi Police have intensified the crack down on reckless skiers in the cities beaches who are causing great dangers for the swimmers and other visitors to the beaches.
Marine wing of the Abu Dhabi Police at the General Headquarters of Abu Dhabi Police have increased the number of patrolling along the cornice and Ras Al Akhdhar waters following complaints from the beach goers and other swimmers.
According to the Marine Police, the cost line from the tourist club area to Ras Al Akhdhar is covered to stop young skiers troubling swimmers and picnickers on the beaches. The skiers are warned against racing and speeding for their own safety and that of others.
Those not adhering to the safety measures are fined and in some cases their jet skies confiscated.
