Lt. Colonel Mubarak Bin Muhairom, Head of Community Police Department at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, called upon the public to cooperate in the efforts aimed at combating negative behaviors by participating in awareness campaigns. He pointed that police efforts cannot be effective without active participation from community members, as it is the first line of defense against all kinds of negative scourges and phenomena.
These remarks will be included in the radio address by the Head of the Department of Community Police, which will be broadcasted live on Wednesday. The address falls within the framework of the ’Security Glances’ Campaign organized by the Radio Branch at the Security Media Department, the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
The Abu Dhabi Police reiterated their invitation to citizens, residents ano d visitors to communicate via the “Aman” service, which allows them to deliver information round the clock regarding security, social and traffic issues in Arabic, English and Urdu, by simply dialing the toll free number 8002626 to take part in preserving security and safety.
Lt. Colonel Bin Muhairom said that the “Aman” service promotes community members’ confidence and satisfaction with police performance at all times and in all situations, to achieve excellence and the highest quality standards of institutional performance and customer satisfaction, while promoting the public’s awareness about safety and prevention requirements. In conclusion, he praised the cooperation of community members and their interaction with the modern approach adopted by the Abu Dhabi Police.
