The Specialized Qualification Department at the Directorate General of Human Resources at Abu Dhabi Police discussed ways to streamline police trainees’ procedures with Abu Dhabi University. During the meeting, both parties also discussed plans to introduce new disciplines and development programs that cater to the changing needs of police departments and improve the efficiency and educational attainment of police staff members.

The Specialized Qualification Department’s delegation, which was headed by Lt. Ahmed Al Amiri, Trainees Follow-up Branch Manager, discussed mutual cooperation and the academic status of trainees studying at the University. Moreover, both parties discussed aspects of cooperation designed to streamline trainees’ financial procedures and admissions. The delegation invited the Dean of the University to visit the Specialized Qualification Department, in order to brief staff members about the university's new programs that serve police departments’ personnel.

Then, a get-together was held on the sidelines of the meeting with the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ’s trainees at the University, to identify their academic conditions, needs and requirements.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Nabil Ibrahim, Director of Abu Dhabi University, along with a number of employees from the university and officers from the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ.
