The Abu Dhabi Police GHQ organized the Partners Forum, with the participation of 39 entities representing the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ’s different partners. The Forum was held at the InterContinental Hotel, Abu Dhabi.

Major Bader Nasser Al Nuaimi, Chief of the Strategic Development Section, the Strategy and Performance Development Directorate General at Abu Dhabi Police, tackled the difference between risk and risk management. He also gave an overview about the risk management strategy. “This strategy contributes to achieving the vision and mission of the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, directly linked to the priorities and strategic objectives of the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ,” he indicated. Adding further, Major Al Nuaimi stressed the importance of developing a common approach to institutionalize work procedures in the various administrative units, build and maintain technical readiness at the highest levels; and ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of operations.

For his part, Major Hussein Al Khouri, Director of the Knowledge Center at the Directorate General of Strategy and Performance Development at Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, shed light on the knowledge management strategy adopted by the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, and the knowledge-related strategic objectives and initiatives. These strategic objectives and initiatives include supporting decision-making processes at all levels; and reinforcing the the General Headquarters’ ability to maintain the organized and excellent performance. Moreover, Major Al Khouri underlined the importance of streamlining processes, encouraging creativity among human resources; broaden the role of the police headquarters in facing unpredictable environmental changes; and constantly improving customers and personnel’s services provided by the GHQ.
