20 children from the Abu Dhabi Police Nursery at the Clubs and Sports Activities Department reviewed the tasks undertaken by the Rescue and Rapid Intervention Branch at the Civil Defense Department in Mohammed Bin Zayed city in Abu Dhabi.

Captain Maryam Jassem Ali Said, Chief of the Abu Dhabi Police Nursery Section, said that the visit falls in line with the nursery’s educational and recreational programs. During the visit, the children were acquainted with the Civil Defense equipment, such as the rapid intervention vehicles, ambulances, and other cutting-edge equipment.

The children received theoretical lessons about civil defense, rapid intervention and rescue operations through simple and age-appropriate educational methods. Captain Maryam pointed out that the Abu Dhabi Police Nursery implements programs focused on integrating education with practical and recreational training.

Towards the end of the visit, the Civil Defense Department presented commemorative gifts to the children of the nursery.
