Major General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Director General of Human Resources at Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, stressed the keenness of the higher leadership to enhance the security and safety in the UAE, highlighting the unlimited support provided to the police forces.

“The achievements made by the Human Resources Directorate General, which have contributed to improving the police work, came as a result of the wise directives given by Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior as well as the dedicated efforts of the staff members who adopted the best international practices and worked in accordance with high-quality professional standards”, Al Menhali said. He also highlighted the work environment provided by HH Sheikh Saif, which encouraged creativity and fair competition among employees.

These remarks came during the annual ceremony that was recently held at the Crowne Plaza Yas Island to honor a group of distinguished staff members at the Human Resources Directorate General, who participated in implementing the general directorate’s strategic plan for 2013. The ceremony also honored employees who provided development projects and initiatives. The event was attended by Brigadier General Jassem Mohammed Al Marzouqi, Deputy Director General of Human Resources; heads of departments at the Human Resources general directorate; and more than 250 officers, non-commissioned officers, individuals, civilians, and experts who were distinguished in their work at the general directorate. 

Moreover, Major General Al Menhali explained that the international certificate, Investing in People (IIP), which was achieved by the Human Resources Directorate General, represents a source of pride for its employees. “It also demonstrates the excellence and the development achieved by the general directorate over the past years”, he added.

Major General Al Menhali extended his gratitude to the team entrusted to supervise the international award which was headed by Major Mohammad Hamad Al Ka’bi and his deputy First Lieutenant Wajdan Ali Al Mutairi.

Following the speech, the heads of the departments presented results and lessons derived from important books written by international authors in the areas of management and leadership, among others.
